Is crochet good for you?

Wow! What a great question! Well, thanks for stopping by my blog. For all the newbies, Welcome! I'm Latoya and I love crochet! My blog also talks about Affordable DIYs, planners, organization tips and more!  The topic of crochet has been a popular topic, especially during this pandemic. People were in their homes and wanted to try or even continue a hobby. I've been actually blown away with all these crochet pieces on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and even TikTok.  Back to the main question in the title, I learned to do a simple crochet chain when I was young. I didn't take it as serious as I do now. I made cute little bracelets for family and friends. Now I have a pretty large stash of yarn, hooks, and other craft stuff.  I'm in my mid thirties now and I definitely feel that crochet is good for you. Actually crochet has helped me a bunch. If you follow my blog you may know that I suffer from depression, anxiety, and I have epilepsy. ( I will talk further about th...

TOP 5 Yoga Positions

Top 5 Yoga Positions Oftentimes the right information can change a person’s life. This happened with me and yoga. There are a lot of yoga positions and poses that are built to enhance posture. All things considered, yoga positions possess a lot of advantages such that it aims to improve our condition and give us a straight figure. Occasionally, we might not take notice of ourselves in a crooked figure. If we practice that for a long period and not do anything about it, we expect to have a crooked bone in the future. Although it is true, yoga positions are good to strengthen our body giving focus to the thighs, knees and the ankles. If you get used to practicing yoga positions everyday, it is expected that your bones react immediately. Under certain circumstances, the belly and the backside is considered an important turn on for both genders. For the male, it is ideal to retain a passable abdomen of the abs. This makes it more appealing to women. Having good butt matters to severa...

Down and Out!

Good evening my Crochet Queens and Kings, It's Latoya and just checking in. I know you were probaly all wondering, what happened? Yes I stopped posting for a couple of days. The holidays and new years have always been a hard time for me since my mom passed in 2009. Since then, the holiday spirit on my end always seems gloomy.  Sometimes you have to change your mindset, and kick those negative thoughts out the door, and out your life! I have been building up my self esteem and confidence, and you can too! If you or someone you know has been a little overwhelmed, share this! I stumbled across a little w-book that talks about ways to help you reach your goals. This book is called "From Zero to Hero". It also has an added bonus of a meditation plan. If you are like me and do yoga and meditation this is a great free tool.  https://www.digistore24.com/redir/336857/Latoya319/

What is anxiety, and what are ways to help you with an anxiety disorder?

Hi, there! It is me Latoya from crochet queens 19! Welcome to my blog. I hope everyone is doing okay. This year has been a very tough year. The pandemic itself has had a major impact on several americans as well as other nations across the globe. People are now discovering that adults along with children and teenagers are experiencing depression and anxiety.  For me, this is very understandable. I have had an disorder called Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Best believe that anxiety comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes. I have been diagnosed with this since the age of fifteen. I am now 35, and will be 36 in March 2021. That seems to be a long time. In this post I want to list a couple of questions that I get from others. What made you finally come to terms with your anxiety? I seem to think that I have accepted that this is my normal. With Generalized Anxiety Disorder it seems that I worry about everything. I feel when I was a teenager my symptoms were a lot worst then they ar...
