  Velvet Ruffled Crochet Scrunchies By: www.anxiouslycrochet.shop For an affordable pattern click  https://payhip.com/b/8fyqv   to print this pattern Supplies needed: (1) ball of velvet yarn  6.0 mm crochet hooks Elastic hair tie or 2 hair ties for security (1) yarn needle (1) scissor  No Guage needed or required . Yay! Do a slip knot on your hook, and attach to the hair elastic.  Round 1 : You want to make a total of 40 SC into the elastic hair tie. 40 SC Round 2: Ch 3, and put 2 DC into this same stitch. Now continue putting 3 DC into each of the 39 Sc stitches in previous round. In the last stitch do a skip stitch and fasten off your work.  Take a yarn needle and weave in your ends. Ta da! As someone who has an anxiety disorder, I can say it is not fun! I have GAD, also known as "Generalized Anxiety Disorder" I will speak on that later on in this post!  Wow! What a great question! Well, thanks for stopping by my blog. For all the newbies, Welcome! I'm Latoya and I love crochet! My blog also talks about Affordable DIYs, planners, organization tips and more!  The topic of crochet has been a popular topic, especially during this pandemic. People were in their homes and wanted to try or even continue a hobby. I've been actually blown away with all these crochet pieces on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and even TikTok.  Back to the main question in the title, I learned to do a simple crochet chain when I was young. I didn't take it as serious as I do now. I made cute little bracelets for family and friends. Now I have a pretty large stash of yarn, hooks, and other craft stuff.  I'm in my mid thirties now and I definitely feel that crochet is good for you. Actually crochet has helped me a bunch. ( I used a cotton/ acrylic blend Scissors Yarn Needle Optional : Beads 5 mm hook Measuring tape Stitch markers Pattern  Ch 16, Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and down to the last stitch. In the last stitch, put 2 Sc. DO NOT TURN. Working on the opposite side of the chain put Sc st in each stitch. On the last st put 2  Sc in it. Round 2 : Sc in the round ( don't forget to attach stitch marker in the beginning of each row.)
