Good evening my crochet queens and kings! Welcome to my blog, if you are visiting, Thanks for stopping by! Or if you are a regular viewer nice to see you again! Anyway, it has been a while since my last blog post. I apologize for that but hopefully things will be looking more detailed and productive now. Okay, Let's get to the goodies, Bullet journals.

I stumbled upon bullet journals a couple months ago on YouTube. ( This is my channel...) The video I watched was very simple, and showed how the bullet journal in itself is very helpful. Don't give me that look! You are probably thinking of those fancy pancy journals you see on Pinterest. I do admit those journals on there are well designed and just drop dead gorgeous! But if you are like me, you might want something simple. Don't get me wrong, I love artwork, and fancy lettering, but I'm in my late thirties and I just want something minimal.

I jumped on Amazon and started looking for one. If you know me pretty well, I'm a little thrifty and if I could find a great deal or price, I'm all in!!

I wasn't too happy but I discovered these that won't break the single mom, or single income bank.  So.... I knew I was going into town the next day and could browse some bullet journals. I located some journals at my local Walmart. The prices varied but decided to jump to a store not everyone would think of. I pulled up to Ollie's.( Yes, the "Good Stuff cheap!", Ollie's.

In the notebook and calenders section I spotted this floral covered large bullet journal. It took a while to find, picking up notebooks, checking for the dots inside. I preferred this journal since it was quite large. The price, well roughly 5 months ago it was$1.99. Yup, you heard that right! But ever since March of this year I tried to find more there to do in my giveaways. But none were to be found. Aww man! Something told me to stock up when I first purchased my 1st bullet journal. Good grief!

Okay, now your probably thinking " you got a great deal, but what are the basics of a bullet journal. At the bottom of my post are some links to some affordable supplies and materials to make your bullet journal well.... YOU!

Now some affordable supplies for bullet journaling I use and you can use too.

Washi tape, A bullet journal, A ruler, Crayola felt tip markers, Some pens and pencils ( regular and different colors) stickers.

I included some pictures of my current bullet journal from Ollie's.

Tip: It is very important to number your pages. I would make this one of your number 1 steps. This helps create your index. In my July post I will also discuss how this bullet journal has helped me with my anxiety and depressive disorder.
