Crochet Water bottle pattern and a new pet portrait!

What’s up my crochet lovelies! Hope all is well and you're having a great day! Today I wanted to share with you a free crochet pattern and a really cool pet portrait I made. Tell me what you think, any suggestions? Show me some great projects you are working on as well. Let me know. We do a shout out once a week so tune in for the special day of the week for that!

I have found that crochet and artwork help my anxiety disorder and depression. Yoga works too, but I would love to pick up a crochet hook or a paintbrush! It brings me peace, and who wouldn’t want more peace? Well enough about that let’s get to that free pattern! I used a pastel pink at the top of my bottle holder- now I’m kind of regretting it. But I can always change it! No worries!

R16:  Repeat Row 15  and slip st to join.

My water bottle holder is still a WIP- work in progress and has no strap but I have included the strap instructions below:

For the Strap:  Ch 6,

DC in each stitch across, Ch 2, turn,

Repeat the DC in each stitch across Ch 2, for how long you want your strap to be.

In conclusion, I have included a pet portrait I made using colored pencils. I made this small portrait this morning and it is a cute schnauzer dog.  I took my reference from a book. ( yes, a hardcover book! I’m old school.) I don’t do any digital drawings with tablets etc, I doubt I could even learn that stuff! Lol. I took that reference

photo, along with a ruler, my pencil, and got to sketching! I just want to tell you that I used colored pencils from Walmart. I know you see all those fancy colored pencils and markers on YouTube but I don’t have that kind of cash. Shout out to the artists that do have that, but also a shout out to the ones like me, (that it’s a little pricey for me!) It’s the price for me…. Anyway!

What are your thoughts about it? Should I try watercolor, graphite, or acrylic paint? Let me know.

You have a great evening,

Sincerely,

Latoya anxiouslycrochet.shop
