Take some Personal Time for Yourself with these 5 ways!

I know I have been stressed and feel run down sometimes. You are trying to focus on goals, your to-dos, your bills, etc. Are you constantly thinking about others but not yourself? Does it seem you are having a problem balancing your job, your finances, or current situations? Do you run out of energy, only to find yourself doing the same stressing all over again but just another day? When was your last doctor's appointment? Are you really taking the time to de-stress and breathe? What time in the day do you think that you could put aside for an escape? This article will discuss 5 main ways we could possibly be more productive, smiling more, and have more self-worth.

1.       Read a good book. This could be a how-to book, a devotional book, a novel, or even a cookbook. I enjoy reading and it does relax me. Some books can make it worst. For instance, you might not want to read a horror book if you don't like scary books or movies. Etc, Etc. Take the time to pick up the book, and maybe a good coffee too!

2.       Exercise. Take a stroll, do some yoga or meditation. Most of the time people feel they don't have the time. But what's good for the majority is to get in 15 minutes of a walk. You do get exercise in but this short small time in the day will be very beneficial.

3.        Nature.  This is one of my favorite steps up here. I love the outdoors, nature, and (believe it or not- fishing! Enjoy the outdoors, look at the birds, the flowers, the sky, and more. I like to bird-watch and play with my dogs outside. I also have fun creating pet portraits as a hobby but is a great stress reliever.

4.        Music     Alexa... Please play Music. I also love music. You don't have to be in the car, or in the shower to listen to music. I encourage taking 15-30 minutes daily of listening to calm music.

5.       Observing others Watch other people in your surroundings. If in a park what are the other people doing?

If you want to be less stressed, have quality personal time, learn to and discover the particular techniques that help you calm yourself.
